In accordance with the agenda, participants discussed issues related to the effective organization of the Council’s activities, ensuring transparency and openness in the Ministry’s operations, and further strengthening dialogue with the public.
During the discussions, the importance of systematically studying public opinion regarding ongoing reforms in higher education, science, and innovation was emphasized. It was also noted that broader engagement of civil society institutions in decision-making processes is essential.
An agreement was reached to regularly organize public hearings within the framework of the Public Council’s activities. These hearings are intended to serve as an open platform for discussing pressing sectoral issues, collecting public proposals and recommendations, and integrating them into practical implementation.
Additionally, the Council’s work plan for 2026, the functional responsibilities of its members, and proposals aimed at improving cooperation mechanisms between the Ministry and the public were discussed.
