Today, a press conference titled “Improving the Education System: Goals and Objectives” was held at the Development Strategy Center within the framework of the “Uzbekistan – 2030” Strategy project.

During the conference, detailed information was provided on the priority objectives in the fields of education, science, and innovation outlined in the “Uzbekistan – 2030” Strategy project, the reforms currently being implemented, and the expected outcomes.
In particular, throughout 2025, the gross enrollment rate in higher education exceeded 44 percent under the Strategy framework. In the vocational education system, the share of teachers holding qualification categories reached 35.8 percent. The effectiveness of research activities has improved, and funding for fundamental and applied research has been expanded. Systematic measures have been undertaken to support young researchers, commercialize innovative developments, and strengthen the material and technical base of educational institutions.
