Deputy Minister met with academicians and doctoral students

Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovations Otabek Mahkamov met with academicians and doctoral students of the National University of Uzbekistan on May 16.
Mr. Mahkamov talked to the academicians, listened to their proposals and initiatives aimed at the development of science and higher education, and gave solutions to the issues raised at the meeting.
Then he talked to 120 doctoral students, basic doctoral students and independent researchers engaged in scientific activities at the university. During the open dialog, a number of issues of interest to young scientists were discussed in detail. There was also an exchange of views on improving the efficiency of scientific research and commercialization of its results.
