2025-12-29 19:50:00 / News of ministry

The event was attended by the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Qo‘ng‘irotboy Sharipov; the Director of the Uzbekistan Agency for Technical Regulation, Akmal Jumanazarov; the university leadership; project developers; as well as the management and specialists of the National Institute of Metrology of Uzbekistan.
The standard is designed for the verification and calibration of liquid level measuring instruments. It has a measurement range of up to 4000 mm and an accuracy of 0.2 mm, ensuring a high level of precision and reliability.
It is noteworthy that while most reference measurement devices previously used in the country were imported, this development has been recognized as the first national standard created by Uzbek scientists. The project plays an important role in strengthening the national metrological infrastructure and developing import-substituting scientific and technical solutions in the field of metrology.
The implementation of this standard will contribute to improving measurement accuracy and enhancing the quality of metrological support in industry and scientific research.
