Cooperation Agreement Signed to Establish a China–Central Asia Joint Laboratory

The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as a delegation comprising representatives of leading higher education institutions and research institutes of the country specializing in the textile sector. Representing the Central Asian side, Baxtiyor Nasimov, Vice-Rector of the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry, was appointed Director of the Joint Laboratory.
During the ceremony, official documents aimed at strengthening cooperation between textile universities of China and Central Asia and establishing the joint scientific laboratory were signed, and several presentations were delivered.
In addition, scientific reports by industry experts were presented, followed by extensive academic discussions.
Furthermore, within the framework of the “Belt and Road” Initiative, plans are underway to establish a Cooperation Association in the field of education, technologies, and workforce training in the silk industry. This format will create a unique synergistic platform for effective collaboration among leading universities, research centers, and industrial enterprises, contributing to the harmonious development of all participants.
It was noted that the joint laboratory will operate in the field of innovative technologies and will expand opportunities for researchers and students to participate in advanced scientific projects, exchange experience, and develop new scientific solutions.
