International Scientific and Practical Seminar on Green Transformation in the Energy Sector of Uzbekistan and China Held in Tashkent

The seminar was organized at the initiative of the INNO Innovative Educational and Industrial Technopark with the participation of leading higher education institutions and research centers of the People’s Republic of China, as well as major international companies operating in the energy sector. During the event, participants discussed issues related to renewable energy, green transformation, sustainable development, modern energy systems, electrified transport, and the training of highly qualified specialists for the energy sector.
The seminar was attended by Professor S.S. Chan, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Founder and President of the World Electric Vehicle Association, along with representatives of leading Chinese universities and research centers. Experts from international companies including Global Energy Interconnection, China Energy Engineering Group, Datang Overseas Investment, NARI Technology, and Beijing Sifang Automation also participated in the event.
The main objective of the seminar was to create the scientific and organizational foundations for the activities of the International Laboratory on Low-Carbon Energy and Electrified Transport, which is planned to be established at the INNO Technopark, as well as to strengthen cooperation between science, education, and industry.
The seminar is expected to facilitate the launch of joint scientific research in renewable energy and low-carbon technologies, the development of innovative solutions aimed at the digitalization and optimization of energy systems, and the creation of new opportunities for attracting international grants and investments.
