During the meeting, the two sides discussed issues of further expanding ties between higher educational institutions of the two countries, improving the quality of Arabic language teaching in a number of universities in Uzbekistan, as well as increasing opportunities for Uzbek students to study in leading universities of Saudi Arabia on the basis of grants.

The ambassador noted that Saudi Arabia is ready to consider and implement proposals on activating areas and forms of cooperation with higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan.

The cooperation between Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies and King Salman International Academy of Arabic Language was also noted.
