On May 3, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations hosted a meeting with the members of the delegation headed by Igor Maslov, Head of the Office of the President of the Russian Federation for Interregional and Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries.
From the host side, the meeting was attended by officials headed by Odil Abdurakhmanov, Head of the Department of Social Development of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Kongratbay Sharipov.
The sides discussed a number of issues on the cooperation agenda. In particular, they exchanged views on improving the activities of branches of Russian universities in Uzbekistan, drafting a new agreement on holding a contest of joint scientific projects, as well as organizing the fourth Uzbek-Russian forum of university rectors and measures to enrich the events within its framework.
