The members of the delegation comprised of authorized persons of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation Igor Maslov, who are currently in our country, today visited the branch of the National Research University "MPEI" in Tashkent, and accompanied by the deputy ministers of higher education, science and innovations of Uzbekistan familiarized themselves with the conditions and opportunities created for students and teachers of the university.
The guests visited the branch's classrooms, laboratories, assembly hall for 400 seats. They discussed such issues as development of science, increase of joint projects, holding the 4th Russian-Uzbek forum of university rectors.
As a result of the conversation it was decided to improve the activities of the branch, to take measures aimed at discovering the talents of students, to develop road maps aimed at the realization of joint projects.
The guests planted saplings on the territory of the branch within the framework of the national project "Yashil Makoye" and contributed to the greening of the environment.
