Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan

During the meeting, the parties presented current initiative proposals and discussed promising areas of cooperation. They exchanged views on the development of a sustainable innovation ecosystem in the regions of Uzbekistan.

As the main result, it is planned to launch a new project with the support of MUNIS project. This initiative is aimed at identifying promising areas of science, technology and innovation development in different regions of Uzbekistan. It includes:

- stimulating the development of science, technology and innovation in the regions, solving problems at the local level;

- accelerating economic and technological development;

- strengthening the regional innovation ecosystem.

A memorandum on the implementation of the above issues was signed.
