Today, one out of every five wild animal species in the world is at risk of extinction.
In addition, 44 percent of existing species are showing a declining population trend. These alarming developments have a serious impact on global ecological balance.

Uzbekistan closely cooperates with the international community in this field and has ratified the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals.

In connection with this date, higher educational institutions hold roundtable discussions, master classes, and educational events dedicated to “Migratory Animals Day.” During these activities, experts provide students with detailed information about endangered species, modern conservation methods, and scientific foundations for protecting the natural environment.
