Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan

During the meeting, the parties discussed further development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Bangladesh in the fields of higher education, scientific research, and innovation. Special attention was given to opportunities for joint educational programs, research projects, and academic exchanges of professors, teachers, and students.

It was noted that the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies has already established successful partnerships with higher education institutions in Bangladesh, which serves as a strong foundation for expanding cooperation in the future.

To strengthen collaboration in scientific research and innovation, the sides discussed implementing joint projects, organizing scientific conferences and seminars, as well as supporting the innovation ecosystem through startup projects and technology parks.

The meeting also touched upon creating favorable educational and living conditions for international students, including expanding study opportunities at Samarkand State University in fields such as natural sciences, information technology, social and humanitarian sciences, economics and management, and tourism.
