Uzbekistan and Guinea Discuss Expansion of Cooperation in the Field of Education

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to expanding cooperation between the two countries in the fields of education, science, and innovation. In particular, they considered establishing direct ties between higher education institutions of both countries, organizing student and researcher exchanges, as well as supporting joint scientific research initiatives.
The meeting also addressed the activities of the national “Study in Uzbekistan” platform and its role in attracting international students to pursue education in Uzbekistan. Proposals were made to create favorable conditions for Guinean youth to study at Uzbek higher education institutions, exchange information, and strengthen analytical and informational cooperation.
Sardor Rajabov provided information about the reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan aimed at modernizing the higher education system, implementing innovative projects, and enhancing the scientific potential of the younger generation. He also proposed establishing partnerships with Guinea’s leading educational and scientific institutions, exchanging experiences, and developing joint programs.
For his part, Senkoun Sylla highly appreciated the positive transformations taking place in Uzbekistan’s education and science sectors and expressed Guinea’s readiness to strengthen scientific and educational cooperation between the two countries.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides agreed to take practical steps to further develop mutually beneficial cooperation in education and science, including initiatives to attract foreign students and implement joint projects.
