The meeting was attended by the Director of the Jizzakh regional branch of the "State Center for Environmental Expertise," an inspector from the Jizzakh Regional Department of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change, the mahalla chairperson, as well as residents living in the nearby area.
The purpose of the public hearing was to ensure transparency and openness in the decision-making process regarding the project's environmental impact, involve the public in exchanging views on environmental safety and sustainable development, and inform the community about the planned measures to protect nature and reduce negative environmental impacts.
An enterprise representative emphasized the types of activities to be carried out at the site and noted that the implementation of the project would create new job opportunities.
Following this, community members addressed the responsible officials with their questions and received detailed information on all issues of concern.
The enterprise officials were given instructions and guidance on environmental protection, minimizing environmental impacts, creating green spaces, and complying with all the requirements outlined in the conclusion of the state environmental expertise.
