During the meeting, vital provisions of the updated Constitution, the content of the norms of the new edition, and steps aimed at building a strong rule-of-law state were discussed. In particular, it was noted that reforms in the field of human rights and freedoms have brought the country’s development to a new stage of democratization. The principle “person – society – state,” enshrined in the Basic Law, reflects the priority of human interests in modern state policy.
The Constitution in its new edition serves as an important instrument for raising citizens’ legal awareness, encouraging the legal activity of youth, and fostering their aspiration toward high goals. Every individual, by understanding their rights and realizing their civic responsibility, contributes to strengthening the rule of law and democratic principles in the country.
Participants of the event were presented with information about the role of the Constitution in the life of the state and society, about civic responsibility, and opportunities for professional development. Through dialogue and a Q&A session, employees received clarifications on topics of interest and gained a deeper understanding that the norms of the Constitution are not only the legislative foundation but also a legal guarantee in the daily life of every citizen.
In conclusion, it was emphasized that the updated Constitution is the most reliable guarantee for building a democratic state based on human rights. The roundtable held became an important step toward improving the legal literacy of young people, forming an active civic position, and strengthening their sense of involvement in the development of the Motherland.
As part of the event, it was also noted that on December 10, 1992, the Law “On the State Anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted, according to which the anthem is a symbol of state sovereignty, and respectful attitude toward it is the patriotic duty of every compatriot. It was particularly emphasized that the citizens of Uzbekistan, as well as other persons residing in the country, are obliged to respect the national anthem.
