INDUSTRIAL SAFETY AT “PROPANE FILLING STATIONS”

On August 20, 2025, the Sirdarya Regional Department of the Committee on Industrial, Radiation and Nuclear Safety, in cooperation with relevant organizations, held an extended practical training seminar on “Safety issues in handling liquefied hydrocarbon gas” at a gas distribution point located in the Shodlik neighborhood of Okoltin district.
The seminar was attended by managers and responsible staff of about 20 auto-gas filling stations and points operating in the region. Participants were shown video materials about emergency incidents and the factors that contributed to their occurrence.
During the seminar, safety procedures for draining liquefied gas were demonstrated directly on-site. Detailed explanations on industrial safety, technical safety, fire safety, and labor protection were also provided.
At the end of the event, a tactical training exercise was conducted, during which a rapid response team showcased the elimination of an emergency situation.
