Committee for Industrial, Radiation and Nuclear Safety under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan

At the event, the head of the Tashkent regional department of the Committee, Rustam Yusupov, informed the attendees about the documents adopted by the President and the Government of our country in this area, the current regulations and procedures introduced in the field of industrial safety, and particularly emphasized that in recent times, an “ecosystem” is being implemented for the digitalization of industrial safety areas in order to bring the Committee’s activity to a new level and to widely introduce information and communication technologies into the sector.

During the seminar, special attention was drawn to the importance of ensuring industrial safety in the preparation of power equipment at Yangi-Angren TPP for the 2025–2026 autumn-winter season, with reminders and explanations provided regarding full compliance with established requirements, standards, and rules.

About 150 participants attended the seminar, including members of the Board of JSC “Thermal Power Plants,” representatives of the Unified Trade Union Committee, labor protection specialists from the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic, and occupational safety specialists from various power stations and centers.

The seminar was conducted in two stages. In the first stage, participants were provided with theoretical information on full compliance with industrial safety rules in production, legal foundations of labor protection, and practical recommendations for ensuring workplace safety. The second — practical — part of the seminar consisted of hands-on training conducted in a demonstrative format.
