One of the most significant challenges for the modern press in the Uzbek, Chagatay, Tatar, Azerbaijani, Kazakh, and Turkmen dialects—all branches and offshoots of the Turkic language—is undoubtedly the matter of dialect, speech, and orthography.
A writer on the "Language Issue" notes: "Languages are refined through time; they cannot be reformed instantly."
Why is a simple language necessary? For communication with one's kin and community. Why is a literary and scientific language necessary? To comprehend existing sciences, arts, and history, and to benefit from them.
