Defending the Motherland is a noble duty, a great honor, and a profound responsibility for each of us. Serving in the name of peace and stability of our country, the well-being of our people, and the sustainable development of the state is the highest form of devotion.
Today, the complex geopolitical situation in the world requires even greater attention to ensuring national security. Under such circumstances, alongside the National Army, the role of institutions operating in strategically important sectors — industrial, radiation, and nuclear safety — is of exceptional importance.
On January 13 of this year, a meeting of the Security Council was held under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The meeting focused on strengthening national security, further developing the Armed Forces, enhancing the professional skills of military personnel, and ensuring peace and stability. Priority tasks identified included the modernization of the army, comprehensive support for military personnel, fostering patriotism among the younger generation, as well as ensuring the safety of strategically important facilities and industrial infrastructure.
As a result of the reforms carried out under the leadership of the Head of State, the National Army is steadily transforming into a modern, mobile, and highly capable military force. At the same time, the Committee for Industrial, Radiation and Nuclear Safety is implementing systematic efforts to ensure the safety of strategically important industrial facilities, the energy and production sectors, to prevent radiation and nuclear risks, and to strengthen control and preventive measures. This work constitutes a significant contribution to national security and the defense of the Motherland.
On this auspicious day, we express our deep gratitude to all military personnel, veterans, and the employees of the Committee who, through their responsible service and dedication, contribute to the security of our country, as well as to their families. Your courage, resilience, professionalism, and loyalty to the Motherland serve as a true example for the younger generation.
We wish you strong health, family well-being, great achievements on your honorable and responsible path of service, success, and new victories. May our Motherland remain peaceful, our country prosperous, and our skies always clear.
Abduvaqqos Rafiqov
Chairman of the Committee for Industrial, Radiation and Nuclear Safety
