🟢 On this day, countries that are members of and have recognized the UN Convention against Corruption organize various events and campaigns, publish posters and handouts, and intensify media coverage regarding anti-corruption efforts.
🟢 Effective work is also being organized in this regard at the Committee for Industrial, Radiation, and Nuclear Safety. Specifically, within the framework of the execution of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated July 6, 2021, "On additional measures to effectively organize anti-corruption activities," the Committee's structural entity, "Kontexnazorato’quv" State Institution, received the ISO 37001:2016 international standard certification for its anti-corruption management system on October 27, 2025.
This certificate demonstrates "Kontexnazorato’quv" SUE’s zero-tolerance attitude toward any form of corruption and serves to increase the trust of the institution's trainees and business partners.
An anti-corruption system operating on the basis of international standards has also been introduced within the Committee's system. A number of measures have been implemented together with local experts to align the Committee's management system with the requirements of the ISO 37001:2016 international standard. In particular, threats and risks that could lead to corruption have been assessed, and measures to mitigate them have been determined.
Systematic work has been established to identify and eliminate corruption risks in interactions with Committee employees at hazardous production facilities under the Committee's control, to have employees submit declarations regarding compliance with anti-corruption policy, and to maintain lists of employees at high risk.
This, in turn, prevents potential corruption cases within the system and serves to elevate the level of activity conducted based on principles of openness and transparency to a new stage.
