Cooperation relations with Qatar in the field were discussed

The Ambassador of Qatar noted the signing of the "Agreement on cooperation in the field of higher education and scientific research between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the State of Qatar" as part of the state visit of the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to Uzbekistan in 2023. The parties agreed to appoint responsible persons by the ministries of higher education and science of the two countries in order to implement the clauses of this agreement.
During the dialogue, they considered a number of proposals to expand cooperation with the Qatar Research, Development and Innovation Council (QRDI), to cooperate in scientific research and to allocate mutual education grants to the youth of the two countries.
After the conversation, the Qatari side invited Minister Q. Sharipov to this country to get to know Qatar's higher education and science and to develop new mutually beneficial projects.
