Youth Affairs Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan

Implementing state youth policy, unlocking the intellectual and spiritual potential of young people, and fostering patriotism are among the top priorities of our country’s leadership.

As part of these efforts, the Commander of the National Guard, Major General Rustam Jurayev, held a meeting with young people. The event was also attended by First Deputy Director of the Youth Affairs Agency, Dilnoza Kattakhonova.

The meeting brought together veterans of the system, cadets of the Public Security University, students of the “Temurbeklar” Military Academic Lyceum, the Military Music Lyceum, the “Jasorat” School, orphans from the “Mehribonlik” homes, as well as nearly 3,000 young guards from Karakalpakstan and all regions of the country via videoconference.

For the youth, a book fair, art exhibitions, robotics displays, innovative projects by cadets, and handicraft works prepared by children from orphanages were presented.

During the official part, the Commander of the National Guard emphasized the role of youth as the foundation of the nation and spoke about reforms and projects in the fields of education, patriotic and social support. Dilnoza Kattakhonova also highlighted the great achievements of Uzbekistan’s youth, which are recognized by the international community.

Professor Jamila Shermukhamedova, Doctor of Philosophy, joined online and inspired young people with her motivational message about overcoming challenges on the way to their dreams.

During the open dialogue, young participants expressed their opinions and proposals, noting with pride that the opportunities and trust given by the state encourage them to be more active, proactive, and responsible.

Ten exemplary students with outstanding behavior and academic performance were awarded by the Commander of the National Guard.

In the cultural part, the Song and Dance Ensemble of the National Guard performed patriotic works, creating an atmosphere of inspiration and unity among participants.
