Today, February 9, marks the 584th anniversary of the birth of the great poet, outstanding thinker, statesman, and a symbol of humanity’s spirituality — Alisher Navoiy.
The wise words of our esteemed ancestor, “Respect for language is respect for the nation”, call on today’s youth to cherish and honor their mother tongue. In his time, he proved the greatness of the Turkic language, paving the way for its use in science and literature. Today, we also set ourselves an important goal — to develop our language and elevate it through knowledge and enlightenment.
The youth, who represent the future of New Uzbekistan, should not only study Navoiy’s legacy through the pages of books but also embody it in their lives, benefiting from his immense spiritual wealth.
