Dear compatriots, dear colleagues and ambitious youth!
One of the most serious obstacles to building a just and prosperous state at a new stage of our development is corruption. This vice is not just a violation of the law, but a betrayal of the future of the nation, in particular, the future of our youth, and a serious threat to the development of society. For every person working in the civil service, honesty and conscientiousness must be not only a professional obligation, but also a firm life belief.
In his speeches, our esteemed President always emphasized the negative impact of corruption on the state system, the stability of society and the trust of citizens, and called on all of us to be vigilant against this vice:
“We must all wage a fierce struggle against the scourge of corruption, which is eroding the state system from within and undermining social stability, against any manifestations of bureaucracy, against the vices of disregard for people, localism and factionalism.”
Today, a completely new legal system for combating corruption, based on openness and transparency, is operating in our country, in line with advanced international standards. The Youth Affairs Agency is also taking the stage as a key initiator, not just an observer, in these processes. We are consistently continuing systematic work on the full digitization of all processes, reducing the human factor, and establishing direct, open dialogue with young people.
The internal control (compliance) system introduced in our Agency over the past period to identify, analyze, and prevent corruption risks early is yielding practical results. We are not only fighting the consequences, but also taking strict preventive measures to eliminate the causes and conditions that cause them.
Dear colleagues, selfless youth leaders in the regions!
I call on all of you to be absolutely intolerant of any form of corruption, to make justice, openness, and purity the main criteria in our activities. We need to form a strong “immunity of intolerance” towards corruption in the minds of young people, and we ourselves should be their personal examples.
Public oversight is very important in ensuring justice in the system. If you witness any corruption-related cases in the activities of the Agency, or if you have your own suggestions and comments, we ask you to immediately inform us through our official communication channels and hotlines. Each appeal will be under my strict control.
Let's not forget that young people need a clean, transparent and honest system! Together, creating an environment free from corruption is not only our goal today, but also a guarantee of our bright future!
Sincerely,
Alisher SA’DULLAYEV
Director of the Agency for Youth Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan
