Our compatriot Javohir Sindarov, who won the FIDE World Chess Cup in India, was solemnly welcomed today at Tashkent International Airport.
During the ceremony, the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on awarding Javohir Sindarov the honorary title of “Honored Athlete of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was read out by Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov.
Also, in accordance with the relevant Resolution of the Head of our State, our young chess player was awarded a cash prize of 123,600,000 soums for winning world-class tournaments in the International Chess Federation (FIDE) classification. His coach was awarded a prize of 61,800,000 soums.
In addition, the World Cup winner was also presented with a 3-room house as a gift from the President.
