In 2020-2021, the “Master Plan and Pilot Project for Integrated Water Resources Management Based on Information and Communication Technologies in Uzbekistan” was implemented with grant funds from KOICA.

As part of the post-project, Korean specialists and the Water Management Digitalization Center conducted a full inventory of existing technical deficiencies, and the components necessary for technical maintenance were imported from Korea, and technical deficiencies in the Smart Water devices, server equipment and monitoring systems were completely eliminated.

In addition, the information system has been improved, allowing visual monitoring of instrument data, and a mobile application for the instruments has been developed.

As a result, the ability to monitor indicators of available water resources at water management facilities in real time using devices installed within the framework of the project, through this information system and a mobile application, was restored.

At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached on the implementation of additional projects in the future with the aim of further expanding mutual cooperation.
