ADDITIONAL COOPERATION AGREEMENT SIGNED WITH CHINA'S HUANHE RIVER RESEARCH INSTITUTE

Our country was visited by a delegation headed by the Director General of the Yellow River Research Institute of the Ministry of Water Resources of the People's Republic of China Xi Zongdang. On June 9, 2025, the Minister of Water Resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Khamraev held a meeting with this delegation.
During the meeting, issues of cooperation between the two countries in the field of water management were discussed, including water resources management, operational flood planning, water-saving technologies and hydraulic engineering projects.
At the end of the meeting, an Additional Agreement on Cooperation was signed between the Research Institute of Irrigation and Water Problems of the Ministry of Water Resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Research Institute of the Yellow River of the Ministry of Water Resources of the People's Republic of China. The guests also got acquainted with the activities of the «School of Water Workers».
