MEETING WITH POLISH SCIENTISTS

Today, Deputy Minister – Director of the Agency for Operation of Water Resources Facilities Z. Ishpulatov held a meeting with them at the Ministry of Water Resources.
During the conversation, information was provided on the large-scale reforms being carried out in the new Uzbekistan at the initiative of the Head of our state, on the attention paid in this process to the water management sector, and the changes being implemented.
– The problems facing the water resources management sector cannot be solved without scientific approaches. “Therefore, the Research Institute of Irrigation and Water Problems of the Ministry has been entrusted with great responsibility,” the deputy minister said at the meeting.
Preparations are underway for the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Research Institute of Irrigation and Water Problems, which will take place in June this year. Representatives of influential organizations, scientists and experts from around the world have been invited.
Currently, the concept of modernization of the innovative activities of the Research Institute of Irrigation and Water Problems (designed for 2025-2030) is being discussed with the participation of international experts.
The Deputy Minister called on Polish scientists to take an active part in the discussions.
– In the context of climate change, the solution to water management problems observed in countries around the world depends on technology. If we take the example of Europe, great importance is attached to the modernization of traditional methods with the help of technology. “We are ready to cooperate in this direction,” Professor Marek Gromes said at the meeting.
The meeting discussed issues of strengthening ties in the field of scientific research.
