In accordance with Resolution No. PP-47 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, starting from October 1, 2026, a procedure has been introduced for specially labeling the pump and filter devices of water-saving technologies with QR codes and equipping them with GPS trackers.
The new system is aimed at digitizing information about water-saving technologies, maintaining a unified record of them, and monitoring the processes of using the devices through modern methods.
Through the QR code, basic information about each device, such as its manufacturer, production date, the name of the entity to which the product was supplied, and its TIN, is generated. This information is entered into the relevant information system of the Ministry of Water Resources, and a unified electronic register of the products is maintained.
Additionally, a special module has been developed that enables the reception, storage, processing, and analysis of data received from the GPS trackers, and the necessary technical infrastructure has been created for its stable operation.
Currently, the process of connecting devices labeled with QR codes and equipped with GPS trackers to the information system is being carried out step-by-step based on the relevant requests of manufacturing and supplying enterprises.
This digital solution enables the creation of a unified electronic register of water-saving technologies, centralized management of device data, tracking of their location and movement via GPS, as well as the analysis of the collected data.
Most importantly, the new system will serve to enhance transparency and control over the processes of implementing and effectively using water-saving technologies, as well as to widely introduce modern digital monitoring mechanisms in the sector.
