Ministry of Water Resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan, acting through the Ministry of Water Resources and the Ministry of Economy and Finance, hereby invites qualified private sector entities to participate in a Public‑Private Partnership project for the design, build (rehabilitation, fabrication and modernization works), financing, operation, and maintenance of up to 76 (seventy six) irrigation pumping stations located in selected regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan, including the Republic of Karakalpakstan. The Project Concept was approved by the GoU on March 2^nd, 2026.

The International Finance Corporation (“IFC”), a member of the World Bank Group, has been engaged by the GoU as Lead Transaction Advisor to support the structuring and selection of private partner(s). IFC is supported by specialized consultants, including EY (India and Uzbekistan), Trilegal (India), and Kosta Legal (Uzbekistan).

The tender process will be conducted in two stages, in accordance with the PPP legislation of Uzbekistan:

1. Stage 1 - RFQ: Submission of pre-qualification applications by interested private companies.
2. Stage 2 – RFP: Submission of technical and financial proposals by pre-qualified companies.

Interested parties are invited to submit their prequalification applications no later than May 2^nd, 2026, 17.00 Tashkent time.

To support potential bidders in preparing their RFQ applications, IFC will host a virtual Q&A session, open to all interested parties.
