Uzbek Agency for Technical Regulation under the Cabinet of Ministers

An online meeting was held with China Testing & Certification International Group Co., Ltd. (CTC). The main objective of the meeting was to discuss the development of bilateral cooperation in the field of construction products testing and explore the possibility of establishing a joint testing laboratory that meets international standards.

During the discussions, the parties considered the development of a modern laboratory infrastructure for testing construction materials and products, the introduction of advanced testing equipment, the organization of laboratory activities in accordance with international standards, and the implementation of accreditation procedures.

The participants also discussed prospects for cooperation in developing the organizational and legal framework for establishing the laboratory, strengthening technical cooperation, training and enhancing the qualifications of specialists, introducing modern testing methods, and exchanging professional experience.

As a result of the meeting, the parties reached a mutual agreement to continue cooperation on the establishment of a joint testing laboratory aimed at bringing the construction products assessment system in line with international requirements, increasing the export potential of local manufacturers, and further developing the national quality infrastructure.
