Uzbek-Turkish Economic Partnership Expands with Planned Entrepreneurial Summit in Ankara

On October 28, Nozimjon Kholmurodov, First Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, met with Hikmet Eren, Chairman of the EcoEurasia Foundation, to advance Uzbek-Turkish economic collaboration.
During the meeting, the parties focused on assessing the current landscape and future directions for developing trade and economic relations between Uzbekistan and Türkiye, aligning with agreements established during the high-level visit in June.
Hikmet Eren commended the ambitious reforms and business-friendly environment fostered in Uzbekistan, expressing his commitment to actively supporting both the implementation of existing agreements and the development of new, mutually beneficial initiatives.
The discussions culminated in an agreement to host an Uzbek-Turkish Entrepreneurial Summit in Ankara in the first half of 2025, with specific next steps set to bolster trade and investment cooperation across the discussed areas.
