Tashkent Hosts International Investment Forum on the Development of the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor

An International Investment Forum on the development of the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor and regional connectivity was held in Tashkent, bringing together representatives of governments, international financial institutions, and the business community. The participation of Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khodjaev underscored the high-level representation and the strategic importance of the forum.
The forum was also attended by Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Akram Aliyev. In his remarks, he highlighted Uzbekistan’s investment potential, the government’s investor support measures, and opportunities to expand international cooperation in logistics and trade.
Participants discussed the status of ongoing projects, financing and coordination mechanisms, and the role of the private sector in developing railway, port, and road infrastructure. Particular attention was paid to digitalization and the simplification of procedures aimed at enhancing the region’s transit attractiveness.
The forum reaffirmed the strong interest of international partners in Uzbekistan as a key logistics hub in the region and a reliable platform for launching new investment initiatives.
