As part of a new pilot project, 40 agricultural specialists are being sent from Uzbekistan to Italy for seasonal employment for the first time.
 

The participants studied Italian for two months and underwent the necessary training. Starting October 1, they will begin working at SALVI in Italy in the fruit and vegetable processing sector.
 

The advantage of seasonal work is that citizens do not have to be separated from their families for many years: they work legally for a set period, earn income and gain international experience, and then return home, where they can apply the skills they have acquired in their further work in this field.
 

Based on the results of the pilot project, it is planned to gradually increase the number of citizens sent to Italy through organized recruitment and open new employment areas.
