Important agreements reached on protecting the rights of our compatriots in the Russian Federation

The negotiations were attended by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Olimjon Abdullayev, Director of the Migration Agency Behzod Musaev, and Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Russia Botirjon Asadov. The Russian side was represented by officials from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Prosecutor General’s Office, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting addressed issues related to protecting the rights and interests of our citizens, including:
— prompt exchange of information when legal issues involving our citizens arise;
— ensuring strict compliance with their legal rights during inspections and providing assistance to citizens who find themselves in difficult legal situations;
— issues related to the Register of Controlled Persons;
— improving mechanisms for organized employment in Russia and professional training before departure.
🤝 The parties agreed to strengthen prompt cooperation in protecting the rights of our citizens.
