Videos showing inspection measures carried out on 27 July 2026 at a construction site in the Ochakovo-Matveyevskoye District of Moscow have been circulated in the media.
In response, staff of the Migration Agency's Representative Office in the Russian Federation immediately arrived at the site and are currently assessing the situation. According to preliminary information, more than 320 foreign nationals, including citizens of Uzbekistan, had been working at the construction site.
In addition, a legal assessment of the situation is being conducted in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Russian Federation. Additional information will be provided upon completion of the review.
The Migration Agency is the authorized state body responsible for protecting the labor and legal rights of Uzbek citizens residing and working abroad.
If your labor or other legal rights have been violated during inspection raids or under other circumstances, please contact the Migration Agency. If necessary, legal assistance expenses of up to USD 3,000 may be covered through the Migration Fund.
The Agency has established cooperation with more than 15 law firms in the Russian Federation.
