Regarding the appeal published on social media regarding employment on the basis of an E-9 visa to the Republic of Korea, the following is reported.
The sending of citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Korea for temporary labor activities through the Employment Permit System (EPS) is carried out on the basis of a Memorandum signed between Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea.
In accordance with it, the data of candidates who have successfully passed the EPS-TOPIK test will be entered into the SPAS database of the Human Resources Development Service of the Republic of Korea (HRDK) and stored in this database for 2 years.
The SPAS database is maintained by the competent authorities of the Republic of Korea. The Migration Agency is not authorized to make changes to this database, edit its data, or extend the validity period of candidates for a third year. Also, the 2-year validity period in the SPAS database is established by the Ministry of Employment and Labor of the Republic of Korea in the same manner for citizens of all 17 countries sending labor.
At the same time, the right to hire or select a candidate included in the SPAS database belongs only to employers in the Republic of Korea. Interference by other state bodies, individuals, or legal entities in the candidate selection process is not permitted.
