BRIEFING On the appeals received by the Migration Agency during the first half of 2026 and the results of their consideration

The majority of the appeals were reviewed in accordance with the established procedure. In particular, appropriate measures were taken on 35,763 appeals, legal explanations were provided for 9,377 appeals. In addition, 37 appeals were referred to other relevant organizations, 77 appeals are currently under review, 9 appeals were left without consideration, and 7 appeals were rejected.
In order to strengthen direct communication with citizens, the Agency's management conducted more than 40 mobile reception sessions, attended by more than 800 citizens.
The majority of the appeals raised during the mobile reception sessions concerned employment abroad. In particular, 500 citizens applied regarding employment abroad, 150 citizens regarding vocational training and foreign language learning, 100 citizens regarding assistance to compatriots who found themselves in difficult situations abroad, while the remaining 50 citizens raised other issues.
According to the analysis of all appeals received by the Agency, the largest number of appeals also relates to employment abroad. In particular:
– employment abroad — 40,392;
– issues related to the activities of private employment agencies — 3,565;
– assistance to citizens in difficult situations abroad — 244;
– provision of financial and social assistance to citizens abroad — 389;
– recovery of unpaid wages — 196;
– refund of payments made to the Agency — 100;
– 384 appeals concerned other issues.
By region, the highest number of appeals was received from Fergana Region – 9,410, Bukhara Region – 4,797, Tashkent City – 4,212, Samarkand Region – 4,200, and Khorezm Region – 4,040.
In addition, during the first half of the year, the Agency's Call Center and short number 1282 received 66,240 calls, and citizens were provided with prompt legal advice and explanations.
Furthermore, 7,398 citizens received legal consultation services through the Agency's front offices.
Overall, ensuring the timely and high-quality consideration of incoming appeals, providing citizens with prompt legal assistance, and resolving their issues in accordance with the law remain among the Agency's priority areas of activity.
