The video appeal published on social media by citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan currently staying in the Republic of Serbia has been taken under the supervision of the Migration Agency.
At present, the circumstances outlined in the appeal, as well as the activities of the organization that allegedly engaged in the illegal recruitment and dispatch of citizens for employment abroad, are being examined and investigated in accordance with the established procedure. Based on the results of the investigation, appropriate measures will be taken in accordance with the legislation.
In this regard, we urge citizens not to enter into contracts with organizations that do not possess the required license when seeking employment abroad, to comply with the terms of their employment contracts, and to refrain from attempting to cross into other countries through illegal means, which may result in becoming participants in irregular migration.
The Migration Agency recommends that citizens wishing to work abroad seek employment only through the Agency or organizations licensed to operate as private employment agencies.
