At the “Ichan-Kala” State Museum-Reserve located in the city of Khiva, work is being carried out to introduce QR-code labels for objects in order to present exhibits in line with modern standards and provide visitors with interactive information.
As part of this process, specially designed digital labels for exhibits in the applied arts section have been prepared and printed. These labels contain detailed information about the exhibits in Uzbek, Russian, and English, enabling visitors to access additional information in electronic format.
At present, the labels are being installed in the exhibition on a phased basis. As a result of this innovation, the database of exhibit information is being expanded, visitors’ opportunities for independent information access are increasing, and the modernity and attractiveness of the museum exposition are being enhanced.
