A New Stage in Digital Government Development Discussed

The session addressed the transition of public administration to a unified digital environment, the development of citizen-oriented government services, the use of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and the formation of a trusted digital environment.
Discussions focused on the integration of state information systems, the development of interagency data exchange, the reduction of duplicate data requirements, and the organization of government services based on citizens' practical needs.
The session also considered approaches to providing proactive and composite government services, reducing excessive documentation and administrative procedures, and advancing the principle of "the service comes to the citizen." In addition, new capabilities of the "Mening Fikrim" and "E-Muloqot" electronic participation platforms, which serve to expand citizens' involvement in public administration, were presented.
The use of artificial intelligence in public administration was another key area of the session. In particular, the "AI Government Assistant" system, being developed as a single point of interaction between citizens and the state, was presented via the my.gov.uz platform.
Participants also discussed the results achieved and strategic objectives in protecting Uzbekistan's national cyberspace, the digitalization of the transport sector, and experience in the large-scale implementation of artificial intelligence in the mining and metallurgical industry. Particular attention was given to cybersecurity, personal data protection, digital identification, trusted integration, and the responsible use of artificial intelligence.
The session served as a platform for dialogue among government bodies, international organizations, technology companies, businesses, and experts, enabling the exchange of experience and discussion of priority areas of digital transformation.
At the conclusion of the event, an award ceremony was held to recognize the organizations most active in the digitalization of public administration and operations.
The Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis was recognized as the most active organization in developing electronic participation; the Accounts Chamber, as the best organization in digital government audit; the Prosecutor General's Office, as the best organization in digitalizing oversight processes; and the Supreme Court, as a pioneering organization in digitalizing the judicial system.
The National Agency for Social Protection was recognized as the organization providing the greatest number of proactive digital services; the Ministry of Justice, as the best organization in digital integration and strategic partnership; the Ministry of Defense, for its reforms in digitalizing the defense sector; the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services, as a leading organization in implementing digital government services; and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, as the organization providing the most innovative government service.
The Ministry of Transport was recognized as the organization that created the best smart transport ecosystem; the Ministry of Health, as the organization that achieved effective digital transformation; the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology, as the organization that implemented the best digital geodata solution; the State Tax Committee, as a leading organization in implementing artificial intelligence solutions; and the State Customs Committee, as the government organization demonstrating the highest results in digital development.
"Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combinat" JSC was recognized as the industrial enterprise demonstrating the highest results in digital development; the Mirzo Ulugbek District Administration, as an exemplary organization in implementing smart territorial governance; and "Alskom Insurance Company" JSC, as the best provider of digital insurance services.
