Investment Dialogue and Partnership Agreements Held as Part of "Digital Investment Forum 2026"

The forum's high-level investment dialogue panel session brought together Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies Rustam Karimjonov; Hideo Fuseda, Vice Minister for Policy Coordination of Japan's Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications; Kanokpan Lao-Araya, Country Director of the Asian Development Bank's Resident Mission in Uzbekistan; Nikolay Seleznyov, Co-founder and Head of Strategy and Business Development at Uzum; Walid Fouque, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Uzbekistan; and Kang Sangjin, Head of the Korea Eximbank Representative Office in Uzbekistan.
During the panel session, participants discussed developing digital infrastructure in Uzbekistan, attracting investment into technology projects, expanding cooperation with the private sector, and prospects for launching new initiatives with international financial institutions and foreign partners.
The forum also featured a KOICA Showcase presentation, during which Park Seol-ri, Deputy Director of KOICA's Representative Office in Uzbekistan, provided information on initiatives being implemented with the Korea International Cooperation Agency and prospective areas for future cooperation. Presenting strategic grant projects was also identified as one of the forum's key focus areas.
The event concluded with the signing of a number of documents aimed at further developing international cooperation. In particular, a memorandum was signed between UZ-SAT and Telesat, a memorandum between UZ-SAT and Nuada Pte. Ltd., and a cooperation agreement between the Digital Education Development Center and Zhongke Ruiyan Technology Co., Ltd.
