Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan

In the Republic of Korea, Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan Jamol Makhsudov and Executive Director of IT Park Uzbekistan Jahongir Rajabov held a meeting with representatives of the National Information Society Agency (NIA).

The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in e-government, data infrastructure, and the digital transformation of public services in Uzbekistan.

Particular attention was paid to the development of the AI Data Hub, a data platform for AI-based solutions. Specifically, the parties discussed the creation of datasets for training AI models.

Following the negotiations, the parties agreed to continue exploring possible areas of cooperation within the AI Data Hub project, including sharing NIA's experience and expertise in creating and developing such platforms, preparing datasets, and building the necessary infrastructure.

There are also plans to review in detail the format and scope of NIA's expert support during the project's implementation in Uzbekistan.

The National Information Society Agency (NIA) is a state agency of the Republic of Korea established in 1987, specializing in digital transformation and information and communication technologies. The organization implements projects in artificial intelligence, digital government, data, ICT infrastructure, and digital education.

In 2025, through the AI Hub platform, NIA provided approximately 1.18 billion units of public data for the development and training of artificial intelligence models.
