The choice of Nurafshon as the site for the center is no coincidence. Cyber University, already operating in the city, is training nearly 1,000 highly qualified specialists in cybersecurity and information protection. Around the university, a comprehensive innovation cluster will now be built to serve as a model for the entire country.
The cluster will house six modern laboratories in the fields of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, cloud technologies and cryptography, along with an artificial intelligence data center and an engineering cluster. It will also launch a production center for secure computers, data transmission devices and high-tech tokens, as well as a dedicated testing ground for drones and robotics.
With support from the Asian Development Bank, a platform will be established to commercialize domestic technologies and bring national products to international markets. The center will be supplied with 5 megawatts of energy capacity and will create more than 5,000 highly skilled jobs.
