Uzbekistan has risen 25 places in two years in the AI Readiness Index

Uzbekistan has been showing steady growth in the AI Readiness Index in recent years. According to the results of the rating published by the international analytical center Oxford Insights, our country ranked 87th in 2023, and by 2025 it had improved this indicator by 25 places.
In particular, in 2024, our country ranked 70th in this ranking, but according to the results of 2025, it rose another 8 places to 62nd place, further strengthening its position.
The AI Readiness Index assesses the level of readiness of countries to develop, implement and effectively use artificial intelligence technologies. The rating is formed on the basis of such important criteria as public administration, technology infrastructure, human capital, data policy and innovative environment.
These results reflect the effectiveness of reforms in Uzbekistan to develop the field of artificial intelligence as a strategic direction, form a competitive digital economy and provide modern public services for the population.
