On May 23, 2025, one of the largest and most prestigious youth conferences in Central Asia — the Tashkent International Model United Nations (TIMUN 2025) — officially began its work in Tashkent.

The conference is traditionally organized at the initiative of Westminster International University in Tashkent, in partnership with the United Nations Office in Uzbekistan and the Youth Affairs Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan. This year, the TIMUN Conference will host over 400 youth delegates, including more than 150 participants from foreign and neighboring countries.
The conference aims to simulate the activities of the United Nations, providing a platform for young people to discuss global issues such as peace, security, ecology, and digital development from their own perspective.
TIMUN serves as a unique opportunity for youth to immerse themselves in diplomacy, international relations, and constructive dialogue.
