"Tashkent – CIS Youth Capital"
On April 15-16 this year, our capital hosted the opening ceremony of the major event "Tashkent – the First Youth Capital of the Commonwealth of Independent States."
The event started with the foreign delegation's first visit to the "New Uzbekistan" park. Guests laid flowers at the "New Uzbekistan" monument and participated in a tree planting ceremony within the park.
This was followed by the opening ceremony of the "Tashkent – CIS Youth Capital Monument." The ceremony included participation from Alisher Saadullayev, the director of the Youth Affairs Agency, and leaders of the foreign delegations.
Currently, the Youth Creativity Palace is hosting presentations as part of the project, technological exhibitions, and displays of craftsmanship and entrepreneurship. Within the forum, panel sessions will be held in various directions, discussing issues of youth public organizations of the CIS member states.
Tashkent loves its youth. Let's unite for friendship, peace, and progress!
It is noteworthy that 2022 was declared the "Year of Supporting Youth Initiatives" in the Turkic world, and the city of Bukhara was announced as the First Turkic World Youth Initiatives Capital. The declaration of Tashkent as the CIS Youth Capital in 2024 is a high recognition of the attention given to youth in our country.
