The Republican working group on improving the youth work system in the regions continues its study. The next meetings were held in Sirdarya Region.
At the meeting in the regional khokimiyat with heads of organizations responsible for youth affairs, issues of ensuring youth employment, preventing crime, organizing meaningful leisure, and expanding entrepreneurial activity were discussed.
The activity of regional and district (city) leaders in ensuring youth employment was critically reviewed. It was emphasized that necessary measures should be taken against responsible persons who had allowed delays.
It was also noted that mahalla chairpersons, youth leaders, and khokim assistants must establish systematic cooperation with educational institutions, thereby increasing the effectiveness of work with young people in education.
At the end of the meeting, the special importance of developing a program to turn Sirdarya into a region free of youth unemployment and to engage everyone in profitable work was underlined.
During the visit, Kahramon Quranboyev, Chairman of the Commission for Work with Youth in Mahallas, met with young people studying foreign languages and earning income from land plots, giving recommendations on expanding their activities.
Meetings and analytical conversations were held on the use of land plots allocated to youth, increasing their sources of income, and organizing activities effectively.
Dilnozakhon Kattakhanova, Deputy Director of the Youth Affairs Agency, became acquainted with the activities of the “Ibrat Farzandlari” training center in the “Do‘ngariq” mahalla of Mirzaobod District, where about 100 students study English, Russian, Korean, and German.
The status of land plots allocated to youth under Presidential Decree PQ-153 of 12 June 2024 was also studied. In the “Yangi O‘zbekiston” mahalla, the activities of Furqat Jumanazarov, Doniyor Jumanazarov, and Javohir To‘ychiyev, who grow melons on 1.5 hectares allocated to 78 young people, were closely examined.
The activity of the youth leader of the “Bog‘iston” mahalla was also studied, and relevant recommendations were given on the spot.
