The Uzbekistan Youth Delegation Held a Series of Meetings in the United States

As previously reported, during its visit to the United States, the Uzbekistan youth delegation held productive and meaningful meetings with leading companies and universities in Silicon Valley, aiming to benefit the country's youth. These discussions not only involved knowledge exchange but also resulted in agreements that lay the foundation for major future initiatives.
During a meeting with Ella Shukho, Program Manager at "500 Global", discussions were held on the company’s activities in the Eurasian region, support initiatives for Uzbek startups, and prospects for cooperation with venture companies. As a result, it was agreed to establish strategic ties between "Yoshlar Ventures" and "500 Global".
"Silkroad Innovation Hub" presented its "Silicon Valley Immersion Program" for Central Asia. According to this program, a startup championship will be held among Uzbek schoolchildren, and the winners will participate in a one-month program in California. The delegation proposed ideas to enhance this initiative.
At Stanford University, the delegation met with renowned scholar and author of the book Venture Mindset, Ilya Strebulaev. He shared valuable insights on the development of startups and the venture capital ecosystem in Uzbekistan.
The final stop of the trip was "Plug and Play". During the meeting with company founder Saeed Amidi and Vice President Emery Han, they discussed the company’s global achievements, the activities of its Uzbekistan branch, and opportunities for collaboration with "Yoshlar Ventures". An agreement was reached regarding Emery Han’s visit to Uzbekistan.
These meetings represent an important step in elevating youth initiatives to a global level.
