To date, headquarters have been established by the Youth Affairs Agency in regions and districts (cities), and youth in 9,452 neighborhoods across our republic have been fully surveyed, resulting in the reformation of the "Youth Balance" for 9.2 million young people.
Systematic work has been carried out under the supervision of the Republican Commission and the State Security Service to address the individual problems of young people, as well as to nurture their interests and talents. In particular:
In order to study and resolve the issues and proposals of young people, 1,432 meetings were held with local and foreign youth in 208 districts (cities) by neighborhood sector leaders. During these meetings, 27,597 young people voiced 2,743 issues and proposals, of which 1,736 were resolved on the spot, while 1,007 were included in the targeted action plan.
To prevent crime and offenses among young people early on, 28 "crime discussions" and "Mobile Courts" were held in neighborhoods with severe criminogenic conditions, involving 2,200 young people.
To support youth entrepreneurship and business projects, the "State Targeted Fund for the Development of Youth Entrepreneurship" was established.
To instill a sense of military patriotism in young people and promote a healthy lifestyle, registration for the "Courage and Zeal" military-sports competitions was launched at the "neighborhood – sector – district (city) – region – republic" level. Additionally, documents for organizing and conducting the "Falcons" military-patriotic spartakiad were drafted and coordinated in collaboration with relevant organizations.
A total of 27,100 young people were included in the "Youth Register," and 7,900 young people received socio-economic support based on the recommendations of the "neighborhood seven."
Specifically, financial assistance was provided for tuition contracts for 3,847 young people, work tools for 896 young people, medical assistance subsidies for 676 young people, and educational expenses in science, sports, and cultural fields for 562 young people.
To support young unemployed people in agriculture, 8,900 individuals received recommendations from the "neighborhood seven," and 5,100 hectares of fertile land were put up for electronic online auction. As a result, 827 young people won 483 hectares of land, and agricultural activities commenced.
A list of 53,500 young people at risk of committing crimes was compiled, and measures were taken to assign them to law enforcement and defense agencies for mentorship.
A total of 2,317 young people who obtained a C1-level certificate from international language exam systems had their exam costs reimbursed with 5.1 billion soums.
To continuously train, improve the qualifications of, and provide methodological support to 9,452 youth leaders in neighborhoods, the "Youth Leaders Support Center" was established.
The 2025 season of the "Five Initiatives Olympics" has begun, with 5.7 million young people registering for competitions and contests within the Olympics framework so far.
To widely engage young people in reading, the regional stages of the "Young Reader" contest, traditionally held in three age categories, were conducted. Notably, 912,000 young people participated in the contest at the neighborhood, sector, and district (city) levels.
The republican stage of the "Young Reader" contest will take place from March 24 to 31 this year at the Youth Library in the Marhamat district of Andijan region.
From January 13 to 20 this year, the Uzbekistan Chess Championship was held at the "Universal" sports complex in Andijan city among children aged 7-17 (in six age categories). The championship featured 840 winners from regional stages, with nearly 3,000 young chess players participating in the regional qualifiers.
In Jizzakh city, the "Uzbekistan Championships" for 8-12-year-olds, and in Tashkent city for 14-18-year-olds, were held alongside the "Al-Beruniy" II International Tournament, which had a prize pool of $68,700.
Since the beginning of the year, the number of readers on the "Mutolaa" platform has increased by 291,700 (totaling 1,726,000), the number of modern skills learners on the "Ustoz AI" platform by 112,600 (totaling 412,400), and the number of chess learners on the "UzChess" platform by 64,000 (totaling 406,000).
To create the image of the Uzbek national hero and instill values, moral principles, patriotism, and a healthy lifestyle, the brand for the animated series "Bek and Lola" was launched, accumulating 36 million views on social media.
